What County In Ireland Is Your Favourite?

Having studied and worked there for over 20 years I am entitled to highlight it’s shortcomings .

To describe it as a City in the way that Galway or Cork is, well I just don’t know!

Perhaps when the country is united again, we should keep Cork as the second city.lol My favourite irish city outside of Cork would be Limerick though.

My mothers family were from Wicklow and my father's were from Cork. Never knew either of them but it seems a decent enough reason to go for those two. If pushed, I would say Cork, I've been there a few times, top city.

Antrim, as its as far away from Cork as you can get.

I've friends in Clonakilty so am a regular visitor to the wilds of west Cork. Not mad keen on the City but west Cork and East Kerry are as beautiful and rugged as it gets.

I lived in Wicklow for about 15 years before returning to Mecca so I do love the county.

Dunno really, just never really enjoyed any visits I've made. I was in college in Tralee back in the early 90's and used to go to gig's a fair bit while in College.

Yes love the Irish accent, not sure what they would think about mine though, they would need the ear plugs.

Has to be Donegal, some cracking beaches for fishing and scenery. Second is county Clare, just love Ennis for traditional music.
