What Decade Was Your Favourite?

I think it's fair to say, that most of us here grew up in the 80's and 90's. I thought the 60's and 70's might have had a few more votes tbh.

Decade I was in my late teens early 20s.

2000s.

Not claiming it's the best, but that's the reason I vote it

I grew up in the 90's, and i found the 2000's to a brilliant decade as well.

Late Seventies we’re pretty good to be honest, but has to be be the 80’s for me!
Followed Everton home and away, Wembley became like a second home for a while, best team in England and would have carried on winning stuff but for the European ban!
Met my the girl who became, and still is my wife! Still went Goodison every other week but not so much away !
Bit of cash in the back pocket, a few great holidays, great memories, good times!

And then the kids arrived ?!

The thing with the late 70's is that Everton still had a very good team, despite the trophies proving to be elusive. We were unlucky in that 1977 League Cup final second replay, and we were robbed out a possible FA Cup win that same year win by Clive effing Thomas!

Sadly around the same period of time, the neighbours had the best team in their history, and we had Cloughie and his brilliant Nottingham Forest team to deal with as well.

Interesting point this, I used to think I wish I was born earlier to have a chance of sering loads of bands I missed, now I wish I was born 19 years ago!!

I always wanted to be a Teenager in tge late 50's as I loved the fashions , I would be pushing 90 now ?

Honestly? probably the 2010's and that's coming from a 36 year old.

Okay, so the decade ended pretty poorly in general, but the start of it was pretty good for me personally.

80s for me. Not even close. Everton were boss, 6 trips to Wembley and the best ever day out in Rotterdam. Brilliant music. First holidays abroad with the lads. Clubbing. Was permanently skint but is didn't seem to matter.

80s for me. Getting to see my sisters best mates tits for the first time really was a magical moment.
