Drove around in circles cos I thought I was being clever by driving without my phone for sat nav. Took over an hour to do a 10 minute trip. Almost ran out of petrol at one point.

Stood atop a wobbly stepladder next to a greenhouse welding a chainsaw above my head to bring down our rot-ridden plum tree, before erecting, in its place, a scaffold frame to house some solar panels at the end of the garden. No glass nor fences were broken and neither human was killed in the process (I know this is important to the health and safety nazis).

Then had all the satisfaction of the day ruined by everton.
