Watched the Everton match this morning, the went to my local team's match this evening. Zero goals combined in both matches for my teams. I love misery.
Watched a local under 15’s game in the morning, went home and had some lunch, spent 25 minutes quality time with the mrs, went back out at 2pm to watch my local team, got home around 5pm and enjoyed a lovely dinner of mince and onions with veg and roasties, watched a bit of crap Saturday night telly then watched Nil by Mouth and went to bed. Not a single Everton thought crossed my mind.
I took my son to football, came back and washed the lawn (artificial grass) before going to the match with my son.

It was a draw in the end. They played well overall, but a bit of complacency and a few individual errors / misunderstandings caused them to concede.
He didn’t have his best of games, but at that age consistency comes in fits and spurts. The positive is he and the team take feedback really well.
As long as he’s enjoying his football, I’m happy.
