What do you get from the chippy

Cod, chips and peas for me, but hardly ever eat it these days as it’s just not good value.

I’ve just spent 3 days in Cornwall and saw a chippy charging £9.50 for fish and £3 for regular chips!

I remember a few years ago a chippy guy (do they have a name? Chipmaster?) apologising to me for the price of the fish.

"Don't worry though mate, in a few months after Brexit goes through the price will come flying down, trust me"

Drove past recently and it's a florist now. Bell.

Usually get fish and chips as a payday treat , with curry sauce . Not cheap for two , mind you . Nearest chippy also does a Banger Deal . Four large sausages , two medium chips. and four sides for £10 . I sometimes get that when I cba cooking . Delivered , too

Most chippy’s near me only take take cash, so margins must be tight, but to blindly believe that Brexit would’ve resulted in lower prices is just delusional- but loads fell for it.

Not a Chinese or a curry but when you get a chippy.

Torn between a sausage dinner and fish chips and peas for tomorrow. I'm drunk and want a chippy. None are open near here but I can get a Pizza, Kebab or Lucy From Latvia.

That one on Rice Lane was always good. They'd stay open kebab hours but would continue to serve chippy style menu; a very clever business model.

If I’m just having standard chippy, I go for steak pie and chips or a large sausage dinner (the chippy by mine does one with 4 sausages)

Otherwise my go to order is either salt and pepper chicken wings, chips and either curry or bbq sauce or special curry with fried rice

Always used to go to the chippy (Chinese if I recall properly) just by the Taxi club when I was over for a game.
