If that Chelsea game is anything to go by when he took over, he'll get momentum especially at home to grab some wins and we'll be sound.

However...I do think he'd make us work harder and will be more defensively sound.

That's not because he's better than Rafael...if just think he'll go to basics as I think Rafael has loaded their tiny heads with so much guff they have no clue what they're doing.

Honestly Big Dunc would be the only manager I wouldn't support from the start.

I think the next manager is doomed from the start tbh and not just because of the club/players but the two opposing sects within the fanbase.

You'll have the NsNo Crew (Kevin The Ratio, Marius etc) who still live in the 80's and demand instant success who'll inevitably be on the managers back then you'll have as @Drico stated the usually reasonable fans who were given stick for giving Benitez a fair crack of the whip will be subconsciously more demanding of the new manager in order to hold them up to the same levels of criticism Benitez received.

Makes me laugh a lot how fans turn on attacking coach Duncan Ferguson when things turn sour.

He coaches the players mate - particularly the attackers. Players like Lukaku, Calvert-Lewin have credited him for improving their game no end.

That Chelsea 3-1 win was the best game I've been to in years tbh I'd 100% give him another opportunity.

Also was a big fan of him slinging off Tosun and Kean when they weren't doing what they where asked. First time I've seen him raging since his playing days.
