The home truth is the sanctions the main reason we're in this mess.

If we continued to get the various commercial deals from USM, Megafon and direct finance for the stadium, we could have found ways to throw money out of danger.

I can't see us ever getting that financial boost again. I'm sure Moshiri has learnt from the past and if Kenwright got turfed with the rest of the board we could have been looking at a brighter future.

At some point we should remember our morals. It was a mistake to have anything to do with Usmanov.

The reality is any money no matter which country its coming from in that quantity has corruption etc coming with it. The idea that American money, for example, is clean and innocent would be very very very naive.

The sad realisation is unless you're Manchester United or Real Madrid you have no sustainable way to challenge at the top.

If Newcastle and PSG got sanctioned they would be in the exact same position as us so I find the whole "we knew all along it's not how you run a football club" absolute brain rot.
