I don't really understand why people are getting so exercised about a player who is not contracted to the club.

Unless they think that using the medical department and the clubs facilities which are already in place and costing the same amount of money regardless of Dele being around the club or not.

Maybe it is the cost of the food he eats that bothers them.

At this point it is TFG that will make the decision on his Everton future but with each passing week it looks more likely he may not play at a high level again.

He would need to be insured to use our facilities. Or we become liable.

I also question who covered the medical bills for the private treatment he’s had.

Football players can have personal insurance which they pay for. Clubs get insurance for players under contract (which he isn't).

No they don't have to but they would be well advised to insure assets. Dele Alli is not an asset of the club right now. Aldershot FC recently trained at Finch Farm - do you think Everton insured them ?
