What is up with Dele Alli?

Players insure themselves for THEIR OWN benefit.

Football Clubs insure themselves against actions of their players and in case THEIR players get injured.
Dele Alli is not an EFC player so they do not need to insure HIM. He will have his own insurance if he is sensible in case he crocks himself.

His insurance and/or private medical care probably covered it.
Millions wasted on poor running of a club .

And Everton doing the right thing by a player/person who has not had good time both professionally and and personally is a bad thing to some...

The club should be commended on taking player welfare seriously. Not just words that many peddle. Everton have gone out acted in the best interest of the individual.

We will very unlikely ever know of any agreement. All I know the interview Dele did with Neville he praised Everton FC it was sincere to me.

Retrain big man
I did, I left that crap industry, but I also knew how to do my job back then.

You for some reason can't understand what has been said to you in several posts now (with quotes from the actual insurance institution), which is who has to be insured and how and who is liable.

Players not under contract with a club are not insured by a club - they have personal insurance. Because it's hard to understand - Dele is not an Everton player, he is not insured by Everton, we are not liable. He most likely has personal insurance that he pays for himself and we have nothing to do with, and is also not mandatory anyway, and we are not liable for. He's also a millionaire and is probably paying for his own doctor, no idea why you find that difficult to believe to be honest.

Furthermore because you're allegedly a big hotshot insurance agent (which I very, very much doubt as it seems like you've never seen a claim or T&C of a liability insurance policy) there's this nice little thing called 'exclusions', like for example a recurring injury, or substance abuse, for which (sadly) Dele is very well documented as having had both.

Also because you've quoted CPP - it's in the name you cabbage, CLUB protection program, it protects the club. Furthermore for players contracted to said club (which Dele is not) and playing for a National team (which Dele is once again not doing) if they get injured. https://www.ecaeurope.com/about-eca/main-achievements/club-protection-programme/

The programme compensates clubs up to a maximum of $7.5m per player per accident. The maximum of $7.5m is calculated at a daily 'pro rata' compensation which is payable for a maximum of 365 days after the first 28 days of disablement (initial 28 days not covered). The compensation payable is based on the fixed salary (including mandatory social security charges) that the club pays directly to the player. Compensation does not include variable amounts, one-off payments, payments not made on a regular basis, or any bonuses, including performance bonuses.
And even then it also has exclusions for existing injuries.

These are all easy things to find online, it takes literally 20 sec of google to find them, BiG mAn. Here, have the full T&C of the programme for the current period.

Dead weird honestly, you pretended to be a doctor when Chermiti's feet fell off, and now you're pretending to be an insurance expert. A poor imitation of Damo, and that's saying something.

Exactly why he needs to be insured.

I’m flabbergasted you don’t understand it.

Yes, which is his own personal decision and he's liable to do and has 0 to do with Everton or where he trains. Do you think the gym is liable if you pull a muscle there? Hit any gym up with a claim for that and tell us how it goes.

We have a thousand examples where we're ran poorly and you've set yourself on a vendetta in a nonexistent one where we're not even actually and actively participating. Commendable, hope more feet don't fall off.

You're also mistaking personal and professional liability, hilariously, and are doubling down on your misunderstanding of it.

We have given him in the region of £13m over the preceding 2.5 years, so speaking highly of us is the absolute least I’d expect if he’s not actually going to do his job.
I know would would be more than happy to talk up an employer who gave me that for so little in return
(apart from single handedly saving us from relegation in one match, were the result ultimately made no difference to us)
