What should the new stadium look like?

outside

It needs to be a new icon for the City, not something looking like its dated from the 19C

75000 and sold out every game

If it can happen in Munich then why not here?

Population difference. Plus two major football teams in Liverpool, only one in Munich.

Preserving UNESCO status won't come into play, they & Heritage England said it would be in bother as soon as Peel got the land and got permissions for their proposed developments.

Something similar to the Allianz Arena maybe with the wave of the Aviva Stadium but going up to one really steep end similar to this - http://www.meisstudio.com/desert-pearl-stadium but a Dortmund style wall at one end.

Steep, tall imposing stands. Four distinct sides. One "main" stand being bigger than others. A tiered stand behind the goal (like gwladys). Right on the pitch. Massive roof struts so looks industrial. All lit up from the outside. Blue seats. Ta.

TBF, the other side aint exactly a major side mind.
erm... lets not go down that road maybe ?!
Yes, with a team near the end of 2. Bundesliga.

Not a major team. Many weeks they struggle to fill 25%.
Fair enough, my Croation Friend, member since 4 March 2017

Catchment area for Everton - a major Premier League force - is what population area, do you think? If you take the Liverpool-Manchester connurbation (and I think our catchment is broader than that), its about 5.6m people. Compared to Munich, also about 5.5m if you take the Munich Metropolitan area (out to Augsburg, a similar distance). Population difference argument does not stand up, I'm afraid, Friend.

Was the Arena a major catalyst to them becoming a major European force again? If you look at the eras pre- and post-Arena, then yes. They enjoyed greater domestic success in a much weaker League than us, but have really kicked on both domestically and at European level since.

If we build a 60000+ modern stadium, do you think that might be a catalyst for us?

OK, and in that area in Germany, how many major teams is there?

In same area in UK you have Man U, Man C, and Liverpool.

You think someone from Manchester area is going to choose Everton above Man C or Man U?

Also Bayern is THE biggest team in Germany and maybe top three in the whole world.

A simply crazy comparison.
