I voted instant success, because thats the only way we will get anywhere, because there is no structure, foundation or base at the club, which is the first thing you need.

And there hasnt been any sense of base since the Kenwright/Moyes days which depsite all its documented failings at least anchored the club.

Moshiri's greatest failing, and he's been here that long that you would assume it isnt going to change.

I'm starting to think the idea of us spending big cash each window with the hopes our new signings will get us top 4 will never get us anywhere.

I think becoming a vessel for the young talent throughout Europe would probably suit us better, like a Monaco, Ajax, Lille or Dortmund.

We'd have to accept players will see us a stepping stone to get where they want to be, but at least they'd be hungry to succeed for the time they're here + we could have appropriate release clauses so they wouldn't be leaving for nothing.

We can spend big cash on guaranteed first teamers who will push us on for years top come.

We need to stop spending daft money on squad players and bit part players. These roles in the squad need to be filled with young hungry players or even some youth players. Squad roles like Bernard, Iwobi, Delph could easily be replaced with an academy player with no noticeable loss on the pitch.

the issue is we cant get hold of those guaranteed first teamers

but there seems to be no appetite for buying young players who will improve either

which is why we end up buying lower quality veterans.

This seems abit redundant, but how do we see ourselves? Because it all then goes onto the manager we want

Are we looking or instant success? Or are we a project? I still think we are in the project stage, I wasn't Ancelottis biggest fan, I loved the idea of him here but it didn't work out as hoped

Does Brands choose the manager, or will they be head coach?

He is abit underwhelming but I would like Eddie Howe, he's a blue, plays some beautiful football and id love to see that again at Goodison, also good with young players

Just my irrelevant opinion, how do you see our club?

At my age, “instant success” is what I want ;)

And sod it....at half my age and indeed in my teens, “instant success” was always what I wanted :)

Any new manager will need at least 45 years before we can even begin to assess his impact.

A has been who when looks into the mirror think they're the business and believe they are the still the same as the mid 80's

What we think we see.

1 City 16
3 Man U 12
4 RS 10
5 Wolves 7
5 Spurs 7
5 Leicester 7
5 Leeds 7
9 BRENTFORD 5
9 West Ham 5

11 Newcastle 4
11 NORWICH 4
11 Soton 4
17 Aston Villa 3
17 Everton 3
19 Watford 2
20 Burnley 1

Yes, I suppose this means a lot of our players get a break for the summer but it's, to some extent, an indictment in some ways of the recruitment, performance etc of our players (and noting the likes of Tosun, Kean, Doucoure, Keane, Gomes, etc have fallen by the wayside to an extent.

In reality we are a mid table club. That's how people outside the club see us. Us as evertonians think we might be slightly better and on a good season we probably are a team just outside european places.

We are also a team with no identity over last 5 years.
