What makes me proud to be an Evertonian is the job the club does for the local community. Football is just a game, but when a club can mean so much to so many people, it suddenly becomes important.

From a sporting point of view, we belong to the elite, so do not think we should complain too much. We are usually in the top half of the world's best league. It is a rather lucrative position if we look at it in a slightly larger perspective. Then of course there is a lot in the club that can be done better, but it does not make me jump off the bridge.

We can spend big cash on guaranteed first teamers who will push us on for years top come.

We need to stop spending daft money on squad players and bit part players. These roles in the squad need to be filled with young hungry players or even some youth players. Squad roles like Bernard, Iwobi, Delph could easily be replaced with an academy player with no noticeable loss on the pitch.

Established players who are capable of getting into the champions league will just join teams who are already guaranteed to be in it.

They don't need to be getting into Champions League teams at this point. Jack Grealish (for example) has never played in the Champions League. Get the players in before their curve starts going upwards.

In reality we are a mid table club. That's how people outside the club see us. Us as evertonians think we might be slightly better and on a good season we probably are a team just outside european places.

We are also a team with no identity over last 5 years.
This is why I laugh when I see some of the players/managers people link us to on here, people think we are better than we are.

I remember an argument on here about two months ago asking why we are linked with players from Chelsea, and if they aren’t good enough for Chelsea they aren’t good enough for us.
The same people want us to sign players from the championship, totally confused me.

I agree tbf, that's what I'm saying.

Hopefully you land on three/four at the same time and you go on to push for champions league football like Monaco when they had Mbappe, Bernardo Silva, Fabinho or Ajax with De Ligt, Van De Beek, Neres etc.

I understand what you are saying, but there is another factor. PL is economically superior to competitors in other nations. Everton are also among the teams in Europe that have spent the most money in recent years. So globally we are among the elite, and globally there are quite a few good players.

We are not in a position to buy established superstars, but we are in a good position when it comes to buying potential superstars. This is where our market is, and here we must become much better. Haaland had not been impossible to get hold of when he played for Molde. It was just taking a phone call to me and I would say it was a wise investment. Low risk, and a player with enormous potential. There are many such players out there.

Instead, we have bought players from relatively large clubs, which the clubs want to get rid of, for expensive money and consequent high salaries. So when some are skeptical about bringing in players from Chelsea, such as Ross Barkely, it's because there are similar players out there, who are far cheaper and with a higher potential.

This seems abit redundant, but how do we see ourselves? Because it all then goes onto the manager we want

Are we looking or instant success? Or are we a project? I still think we are in the project stage, I wasn't Ancelottis biggest fan, I loved the idea of him here but it didn't work out as hoped

Does Brands choose the manager, or will they be head coach?

He is abit underwhelming but I would like Eddie Howe, he's a blue, plays some beautiful football and id love to see that again at Goodison, also good with young players

Just my irrelevant opinion, how do you see our club?
A club that’s one managerial appointment from big trouble.

In the last 15 years we've finished outside the top ten three times, twice under Martinez and once under Silva/Ancelotti. We're not where we want to be but we aren't the basket case that some people are making us out to be either.
