What's the single worst thing about missing the match?

I'm sure we all miss everything about it whether the Blues are home or away, the craic, the pubs, the banter, getting soaked/frozen,moaning before/during and after the game, however the very worst thing for me about this "new way" of following our team has been adjusting to hearing the commentaries when watching all our games on the telly, previously prior to the pandemic all I have ever watched have been a few away games each season when I haven't been able to acquire a ticket, to be honest it drives me nuts,I don't expect them to be "Pro Everton" but the negativity levelled at us game by game is nothing short of scandalous, last night a case in point, they were willing a Leicester equaliser, praised Leicester from the kick off, they mentioned Vardy being out on countless occasions yet failed to recognise our first choice central midfielders Allan and Doucoure were missing which led you our tactics of conceding possession and ground to Leicester, they choose to try to ignore anything positive we do and are so,so grudging in any praise,I get the majority of them are RS,I already knew this, but as I say, to listen to this absolute drivel every single game makes me yearn for our return to the game so very much(and I know, the penny has finally dropped, I shall watch the Newcastle game with the sound on mute lol)
Welcome to my Ex-pat TV world, It was like a breath of fresh air to watch a none sky streamed cup game...yes the comentators mostly talked wham, they can't help it.
But there was no fake crowd noise
and it was great, well maybe not that good, different anyway.
Lunchtime KOs are sound - 10.30pm for me, get a nice buzz going, with the single malt as back up if its really good (rare) or poor-ish...and then so to bed as they say.
8.00pm are a drag getting up early
5.00pms and I don't even bother now, watch a replay at a civilised time of the morning with the brekkie

A load of beers in the pub from 11am with the lads, starting off talking footie then onto anything and everything else, whilst various other people pop in for a guest appearance and a quick one or two as the match draws near. Downing the beer and heading up towards the ground at 2.45 and stopping at the offie to get a couple of cans to walk up with, then standing on the corner by the church letting on to old familar faces and finishing the cans off before Z-Cars sounds and necking the last remenants b4 heading in for kick off. (If we've been playing particulary badly, sometimes having a debate whether we should jib the game off and go back the pub and watch it, but never ever do, like being a schoolie and contemplating bunking off but bottle out at the last mo).
Chatting and saying hello to everyone as you meander to your seat and getting that happy feeling of belonging to something so much bigger than you sometimes realise.
Then going mental and letting go at a glorious late unexpected winner;)
