When is to early for a Christmas tree?

Christmas on GOT can be a wondrous time with the GOT family.
You get to spend it with some people you like, some you don't, some you hope you don't see for at least another year and some who make the day a bit special because of a story shared or a message sent.

I tell Mrs CT that they should be up no earlier than 12 days before and took down a full 12 days after. Because y'know it's traditional like and I don't want to make it less special.

I haven't actually got a clue about any tradition or the 'proper' way of doing it but it sounds like a reasonable excuse to not put them up on the 1st December and to not take them down again before New Years. And I know for a fact that Mrs CT will impatiently end up putting them up and taking them down on the 1st Dec and New Years Eve respectively.

Which means I don't have to do a tap. Tis the season indeed.

Two people by me had Xmas stuff up the 1st week of October (While just for the record someone had Halloween stuff up end of sep which I've never seen Halloween stuff up so early ever lol)

According to tradition, Christmas trees and decorations should go up on the first day of Advent, which is the fourth Sunday before Christmas. This year, that falls on Sunday 27th November 2022.

You take them down on twelfth night, which is January 5th. But if you don't, you are supposed to leave them until Candlemas, which is 2nd February.
