Where does Jack fit in?

Player Valuation: £8m
For arguably the first time in my 20 years of being on this here planet, I look at our midfield and feel quite smug about it. We have a smashing group of players to choose from, but I can't help think: where does Rodwell fit into this all?

I haven't been on GOT much the past few months but I can only assume the general consensus is one of Fellaini and Arteta in the middle. Where does one of our (and England's) most promising central midfielders in years come into the equation?

I think short term he won't get his chance until Neville is dropped, unless we have injury or rotation.

He is strong going forward, but I see him as a long term partner for Fellaini.

Something like this:

......... Fellaini ................ Rodwell ........

.................... playmaker ....................

Right mid .................................. Left mid

At the moment we have Pienaar, Arteta, and Bily for the 3 positions, with Cahill an option for a different formation. All depends if we play one or two strikers.

In FIFA 10, I was winning by a lot and Cahill was getting tired so I decided to sub Rodwell in for Cahill. What resulted was a hattrick in 5 min. It was a video game like, but he looked a natural in that position.

He'll fit in where he's told, unlike Gosling the blert!

In all seriousness though, plonk him in the centre somewhere and let him roam, pick up balls, pass, shoot, like how Lampard will do for Chelski.

In my opinion Rodwell doesn't fit in as a regular starter YET because I still believe Fellaini is probably the best player in his position, Arteta and Cahill the same, but Jack is a very useful replacement for any of them if they get an injury and he is also a great impact player and while some might argue he's got more about him then Cahill, I think Cahill has got qualities that hardly any player in the world has and he is vital to Everton if we are to have a breakthrough season

It's a squad game these days, you need more than 11 great players to be successful.
Jack right now will be a quality impact player and a quality player to bring in when needed throughout the season.
He won't be a first choice just yet but he'll be the main man very soon, just needs to pay his dues like all young players should.

Play him in an attacking midfield role and give him license to get forward. I think he could be a great attacking midfielder, but he will be amazing werever he plays

In between me and Diego Forlán.

The inbetween me and Forlan answer nailed it.

Great minds.

But I'm first!

Pah. But I'll takes slops.

Fine. You can have Jack. Me and Diego are taking our business elsewhere.

Hey I called Rodders way before the two of you. He's mine!!! Ask Helen.
