Where does Jack fit in?

I think Anichebe should be a fixture on the right this season, he's added intelligence and a good final ball to his pace and power and he's been linking up well with whoever's been playing behind him at right-back

By the sounds of it, Colechebe is the new Bainaar.

I think Rodwell will get plenty of gametime. He'll probably be Cahill's main backup as an AM,..... If you really think about it he'll probably be Arteta's and Fellaini's main backup too. I mean who would you rather have on any of the CM positions Osman, Captain Pip, Heitinga or Rodwell ? All of them are very good Mids in their own rights. Osman got some very good close control and he is always a goalthreat, and Pip and Heitinga are very cool and composed at DM, but Rodwell is like all of them mix together. I don't know about you all but I would rather have Rodwell. So I'm not really worried about him not getting enough playingtime.

As for Big Vic. He has been showing since the end of last season, a couple of friendlies with Nigeria, and pre season that he has improve ALOT, and I mean ALOT. We've always lacked a good RW (Pienaar and Bily feel more comfortable on the left and Osman is better at CM) but Vic has been great on that position. His size, pace and power + his new-found intelligence, awareness, and ball control has made him a nightmare for most fullbacks. IMO he should be in our starting Xl until someone else shows his better than Big Vic on the RW.

This should be our starting midfield:
-------Fellaini---Arteta-------
Vic---------Cahill-----Pienaar

With Rodzilla coming in as a sub at somepoint during the game.

This, all over.

I know he's the bollocks in CM, but we have played Arteta out wide on many an occasion, and he's been the bollocks there, yes?

If the fcuker stays, that is!

David Moyes has said that he is pondering a more attacking role for Jack Rodwell, who has shown his scoring prowess once again on the pre-season tour of Australia.
The midfielder has shown more than once last season that he knows where the net is, and he is continuing that form into this term by the looks of things, with his latest goal (against Brisbane Roar) being a lovely long range effort.

“In the end we used Jack as a more attacking player last season, with him getting forward and scoring goals,” said Moyes.”He’s scored two goals on this trip already and he’s certainly capable of it. I do see him showing a bigger strength in that department now.

“His [second] goal was great. He’s got that ability and we know that he’s technically very good.”
