Top 4 would mean all of Chelsea, ManU, Tottenham and Wolves would have to have significantly poorer second halves to the season than us - that ain't going to happen.

Top 6 means two of those, plus Sheff Utd, have to have poorer second halves than us - There's an outside chance that that might happen.

Seventh is possible, but eighth is probably the best we can do.

I voted seventh

8th.

Then we go through a summer transfer window with Carlo and next season we make a proper go of challenging for a European place.

Top 4 will be Liverpool,City,Leicester and Chelsea after that it's wide open, we haven't left it too late for a push for 5th, a win V City then we have a few very winnable games on the trot, put together a run of 5 or 6 wins and we'll be right up the table at the business end of the season. Hopefully Gbamin will be back soon and contribute.

Would take Top 10 but the way this season is panning out, anyone can finish in the final Top 4 space. Just needs a team to put a run of wins together - why can't that be us?

8th at best, probably 9th. I just think we've left ourselves with far too much to do to turn it around this season. I still detect a fragility to the side too. But if we finished 8th again, it would be further stability to add to the last 2 seasons, with the great feeling of knowing that we can then genuinely push on next season.

Ancelotti arriving has completely changed the direction the club is heading, especially if we get positive news next year with the Stadium.

I can't see us catching Wolves, Spurs or Man United from this position but if DCL can keep up his scoring form then we will have unexpectedly gained an advantage over the other sides in that we may well have a goalscorer to help us in the 2nd half of the season that we thought we'd be lacking. It helps the top sides so much.

If we can manage to beat City then we have a decent set of fixtures after that to keep the run going. I'd back us for a top 7 finish, maybe top 6 if we continued the good run through January.
There 5 points ahead not 20

Anything from 8th upwards would be acceptable, given that we were relegation fodder just a few weeks ago. If we managed to get into the mix for Europa qualification, that would be very impressive. It's alright saying we're only 7 points off 5th/6th, but that's quite a margin to overcome to overhaul the likes of Spurs, Wolves, Manure etc.
