I’ve put top 7 because top 10 just doesn’t feel ambitious enough , in reality I think 6-8 is the area I see us ending up but so many factors and not just our performances will be pivotal in that .

I wasn’t hugely concerned we’d end up in a relegation dog fight but a different appointment and 1 point from these last few games rather than 8 and I personally would certainly have been looking down rather than up . So huge credit to Duncan , our beloved new leader and for a change the board for an genuinely ambitious appointment .

We have had a horrendous season yet we are 6 points off 5 with 1 of the best managers in the world and ppl don’t think we can catch Sheff Utd,Palace or Wolves
It’s not that we can’t, just that it’s not as easy as you’re suggesting. It’s worth pointing out that our recent upturn in form and 5 game unbeaten run has actually only seen us gain one point on Sheffield United. Teams are above us because they’ve consistently picked up better results than us over the course of the season, expecting us just to motor past them because we’ve got a different manager is unrealistic.

I think we need to be realistic this season. Ancelotti has come in and started well but we're only two games in and have beaten Burnley & Newcastle.

If we can get through the next couple of games relatively unscathed especially getting to the 4th round of the fa cup the boost in morale from that would give us a huge lift going into the rest of the season.

As we know all to well football isn't played on paper if it was we'd have won 9 of our first 10 games.

City A
Brighton H
Wham A
Newcastle H
Watford A
Palace H on the 8th Feb

6 games and i think we need:

15pts to be chasing top 4.
12pts to be chasing top 6

By the 8th Feb our season should be well mapped out.

I looked before and your right, feels like we closed the gap massively on them but we actually havnt, think it’s 4 points on Chelsea and 4 on Wolves , thought it was more, annoying we never went for the kill against Arsenal, gained 6 points on Arsenal which is great

I think we also need clubs above us to start dipping off.

Im hoping the EL takes its toll on Wolves come the end of the season as they have played 34 games already this season.

Sheffield Utd will go the distance with injuries to key players the only thing from them dropping imo.

I think we'll finish 8th-9th but the next few games will be key imo.

Little room for error - a draw at Citeh with hopefully those above (Utd, Spurs, Sheff & Wolves) drawing/losing would be ideal.
