Posted via Mobile Device Spurs a 'sleeping giant' ? Probably, they are bound to come good again eventually, some decent history about them, classy players down the years and teams that have played with flair and imagination. Everton a 'sleeping giant' ? NO ! 'cause we are effing wide awake and kicking ass mate! COYB

Didn't mind Spurs, until they sacked Martin Jol...

Appointing Redknapp didn't improve their image for me. He bugs me.

Also think Spurs seem intent to ruin any British talent.

On the first two points, you would be in general agreement with a very large percentage of Spurs fans themselves.

As a fan i can only support the manager in charge at the time. Even Ramos still had most fans onside despite doing nothing after the CC win vs the Cheats until he left. I don't know of a single Yido that was calling for Jols head before he went. I was purely a board decision but I think he would come back to us in a heartbeat to be honest.

Point 3. That might be a bit of a sweeping generalisation but we certainly seemed to have ruined Gareth Bale...really don't know what is going on there. If Huddlestone could move faster than continental drift he would be one of the best midfielders in England but he can't. :)

Although this is a "hating" thread, I've got to say I had a soft spot for Spurs growing up (Gilzean, Jennings, Mullery, etc.). However Sugar and ENIC put paid to that and the management roundabout and the appointment of turncoat Redknapp also didn't help. Could possibly do well in future in an RS "throw enough money at transfers and some of them must come right" way but equally also in some danger of turning into Newcastle.

We had a player called Pembridge a few years ago. Shout from the terraces: "Jeezus Christ, Pembridge!! I've got milk in the fridge at home that turns quicker than you!!"

YIDS
KOPITES
NEWCASTLE
CELTIC
RANGERS

Bottom 2 is cause everyone where i live are mad about them but havent a clue not to mention they both think they are world class... but there ****e!

I think that is unlikely, no matter what people may think of Levy & the managerial merry-go-round, the fella is a genius with the money.

Despite only winning 2 CC's in 17/18 years we are still one of the richest clubs in the Prem/world which, despite having "the best fans in the world", Newcastle can't say.

1.RS...longing for a return to the days of Liddellpool.

2.ManUre...The reason my favourite NFL club will be roughly £35-40 million under the salary cap. Bad enough they pollute the football season with their presence. Now they're sucking the life blood out of the Bucs as well.

3.Leeds United...Proof positive Homo Neanderthalensis is alive and thriving in Yorkshire.

4.Lazio...Don't have much time for a club that still cherishes Mussolini as one of their Celebrity Fans.

5.Celtic/Rangers...If they want England, then let them start at the bottom and work their way up. Otherwise, leave them to rot in the league they've effectively neutered.
