I am very patriotic Ghost, why i dont know but i am. Azz does have a point on Everton players leaving or going crap after playing for England. Not everyone likes the national side and their playing style, infact i wish we had an English coach and less egotistical players, but i have never witnessed England winning a major tournament and would love to see it happen, not just hearing about the 1966 triumph.

He was known yeah, I guarantee no one would have spent £30million on him.

Look , your entitled to think , act and say what you like mate . I went off the deep end there so I apologise for that BUT come on spare me the Polish debate . I didnt create the fault you seem to see and really if I am honest I couldnt careless . I am a heating engineer with my own firm . I had a spell working in Hackney last year and alot on site were from Poland , Czech Republic & Hungary . You know what ? They never missed a day and grafted aswell as anyone ive ever worked with . Not having a go at British tradesman as I know some who have worked all oever the world operating to the highest standard . EVERY country has good and bad and depending on the time and date you live through eill determine who you run into .

See your truth mate not what you read or get told . Wehere do you live ?

Because he was too young. Alex Ferguson had been watching him before he played for the seniors.

As soon as he scored that goal against Arsenal he was known worldwide, absolutely nothing to do with England.

Victor Anichebe is known worldwide, doesn't mean someone's gonna come up with £30million if he scores a 30 yard goal.

I live on the Wirral, and I have worked with Polish people also, and yes they are grafters, but some of them take the piss and I can cite two examples, one is a kitchen manager who never ever stays late while the rest of his kitchen do 13 hour days.

But by the by.

You can't beat being in a pub in the summer during world cup years. Its amazing, laugh or cry, it's emotional.

Sorry for being so ghastly mate.
I'm bored of the national pride debate now, some are some aren't. Same as with religion, each to their own.
I'm not national pridest but I do get a tad jealous when I see the Scots and Welsh getting all proud over their national anthem and that.
