Assuming we're selling heitinga and retiring hitzlsperger and neville then Bony, Fer and Lescott between them would improve us nicely. We need another, more mobile, midfielder especially with gibson's injuries and now osman is waning. Not convinced we need cover at Cb straight away but distin has to peak at some point and unless jelavic can turn back the clock a new striker is a must, too.
Not sure we could afford all 3, like.
But honestly all the players in the poll we've been linked with and all have good reputations so you'd imagine would improve us if we could get them.
Ideally, if money was freely available we'd grab a winger too. Someone like drenthe.

If they get relgated, yeah.
It depends how much they'll hold out for him. They paid 8 million for him before he'd even ever played second flight football. They stay up and they might well hold out for a sum that's unreasonable.

He's got an impressive record in League 1 and the Championship but I think we'd have to well overspend to get him. He cost Blackburn 8m, they won't want to sell on a loss. 8m+ is a bit much for our limited budget on a player that isn't proven in the Premier League.
They get relegated and they probably can't afford to be picky.

Just looked at the Championship table, I had no idea they were in the relegation zone. Yeah if we can get him a bit cheaper he might be a decent signing.

Whether we would want him or not it's mental when you think we could struggle to afford a League 1 striker. Think Tom Ince could be decent but we probably couldn't afford him either.
