Are you comparing Honda to Li Tie? It doesn't matter how much popularity the club has in Asia it's about the quality of the players.
I've watched Honda countless times and he's creative and a player I believe would help us in the long term.

A big box to box midfielder to play alongside Gibson. Fer fit that mould so maybe we will go back in for him again.
We could do with another striker, a winger/attacking mid and ideally another CB, so the Fellaini sale could see a few new faces coming in. We could be looking at quite a different Everton side next season.

Wilfred Bony - smashing them in for Vitesse all over the show currently. Highly rated and we nearly had him on loan in January, but Moyes changed his mind. He could be Drogba, he could be Bakayoko.
Leroy Fer - Apparently we nearly signed him. But he had a dodgy medical, but then sure every game for Twente you could imagine. Box to box midfielder with an alarmingly small head.
Alvaro Negredo - press claims we bid for him on 30th Jan this year. Sounds made up. But this guy is awesome. Not many Spanish strikers I'd take to do well in the English game but this guy would suit us. Currently 4th top scorer in Spain for Sevilla and if we get him jizz will explode from my winky woo.
Keisuke Honda - Vastly over rated Japanese playmaker who must be on some heavy money that we can't afford. Why else would he still be playing for CSKA? I've not seen tons of him but from what I have I can't understand why people are arsed about him. However, having the best Japanese player would give is marketing opportunities over there.
Kevin Gameiro - when I have seen him for PSG he's been quick and knows where the net is. But that's the problem. He's hardly played for them recently as they have boss forwards now and this guy doesn't come close anymore. He's defo gonna leave in the summer. Probably not to us.
Joleon Lescott - never heard of him.
Other; I would like us to get a new keeper in the form of Kasper Schmeichel.

If we don't get Jose, he'd be my choice to take over from Moist. Not exactly set the world alight with Fulham but I love him.
Based on nothing whatsoever, I think he'd be brilliant as Everton boss.

Fulham are 10th and if they win their 2 games in hand they could be 8th, which is probably the maximum they could achieve with the size of their club. Their away record is woeful too, partly because only Dave and his dog attend every game on the road.
I thought he was unlucky to lose his job at Tottenham.

but given the club management's inability to seize marketing opportunities and citing our Li Tie experience even this is doubtful IMO.
