He was bringing the cash, why would he be the liar? Bill was desperate, so that doesn’t make sense. Moshiri did spend a fortune on players and we have a stadium being built. Sure he’s made mistake after mistake in appointments but he hasn’t surely done that in isolation which is why the full blame isn’t his.

He took gambles and knee jerked when they didn’t look like paying off.
But I don’t understand why he might have lied in order to be able to buy the club?
….Benitez definitely gets the blame for turning the club sceptic and making us relegation candidates. I have no doubt we’d be fine & the club a happier place but for that obnoxious man. Amazing that a couple of regulars on here put him on a pedestal & continue to defend him.
