I feel that the Premier League want a fast flowing game with minimal stoppages, it supports their 'global brand' and makes the game easier to sell (makes them more money). Refs are (probably) told to let fouls go (especially in the penalty box). So, whilst all of our refs are rubbish (and not selected to officiate at worl cups as stated) i don't think that it's entirly down to them. Still hate then all tho'

If he was able to make that seamless transformation from failed player to ref, why on earth couldn't he have made the next one from failed ref to something more useful, chocolate teapot maybe.
