Crap player but over a 100 metres Walcott must have been quick.

mom from near Southampton and the echo did an article on him when he was breaking though at 16.

said he ran the 100m in 10.55 seconds at 16 years old. I had a mate that played for Portsmouth youth and he played against walcott. Said they were 2-0 up with 20 mins left when walcott came on and the game ended 4-2 with walcott scoring 4. Said he was unplayable because of his pace

I think over 20 yards say, certainly to the naked eye, Traore and Walker are the quickest, with Godfrey right up there.
