Of recent times probably Walcott over 60m, Godfrey or Calvert Lewin over 100/200.

A pre-injuries James Vaughan might be up there.

walcott in his youth was the quickest but not while he was here. Lennon was very quick over the first 30 meters same with lineker . But it’s between kanchelskis who I it’s has better acceleration and I would say to be fastest and Godfrey ... Godfrey takes a little longer to get going but his style is must more powerful rather than explosive and I think his top end speed is massive.

I seem to recall a survey done a few years back, which said Jagielka was the fastest Everton (PL?) player. He clocked in excess of 32 KMPH I believe. Will try to scrounge up the link if I can find it.

Though, Godfrey does seem to be gifted with pace.

Edit: This is what I found in an old article

"The defender hit a top speed of 35.99 kilometres per hour - or 22.36 miles per hour - against Leicester on the opening day of the season (2014-15)."

remeber DCL saying I’m an interview when asked who was the quickest at everyone “ I’d like to think I’m up there but jags”
“ really?”
DLC “ you want me to say someone else? “
“ really jags”
“ yeah he’s absolutely rapid”

thus is when jags was coming to the end of his time with us too

This is correct, I remember when he was in his prime seeing a Premier League season stat that said Jagielka had recorded the fastest sprint in the league that season

Lineker was quick, possibly looked a bit quicker than he was because he read the game so well and would give himself half a yard start on most defenders.
If you can beat the starting gun, why not.
