I always liked Lennon playing for us. His end product wasn’t great but he would lock down that right hand flank defensively. I reckon Carlo would love a prime Aaron Lennon in this team.

I loved Aaron Lennon in Everton’s team, like you say he could have been better with his final ball, but nobody worked harder than Lennon attacking and defending for the whole time he was on the field. As Leon Osman said, when Aaron first joined the club he shamed the rest of the squad with how fit he was and the effort he put into training.
