Ive got Virgin Media, i want to go to sky though...mostly because its abit cheaper, an i want the sky TV intead of virgin media tv

I was going to go over to them but the tech guy who fixes my cock ups said its router is not as good as the zoom I use now and the signal is not as good.

was last with pipex... also been with virgin, tiscali, and loads of others...

currently paying 30 quid for 40 gb allowance and free allowance from midnight till 8pm... rip off in my opinion...

I've been on plus.net for about 6 years Jon. Best ISP I've ever seen. Fast downloads. I've only ever hit the 40gb limit a few times but it makes absolutely no discernable difference except torrents get capped at 40kbps for a week or so. Seriously good isp. I pay £23 for 8mb.

Virgin just quoted me £48 for telly (all sky sports an setanta), broadband and phone. I forgot to ask whether the price went up after so many months, no doubt it does...

virgin, although its supposed to be uncapped their fair usage policy is starting to bite at times!

If i was aware of this, i would never have signed, it was supposedly unlimited.

So I'll be off soon without a single good word to say about virgin!

I have had a few run ins and disagreements with them, also I keep losing my signal for half an hour occasionally.

I had a far easier ride when it was all telewest.

To reiterate and make me feel better, just about every service that virgin have anything to do with becomes an unreliable cock-up, and i can only see it getting worse.

£26 per mth. No films or sports (either at match or in pub watching and not paying to watch teams i couldnt care less about)

Danny I have Sky plus in two rooms (2boxes) all the channals except settena movies ,sports ect and broadband£69 a month and i am happy with the broadband I was with talk talk where it was free so long as you had your phone with them but as I have already said if something goes wrong its awful you get sent from one guy to the next all promising to have you back on in about a hour and in fact it took TWO weeks.

Virgin Media £20 for the broadband and mobile phone (300 mins + 300 texts free p.m) and sky tv £38 for everything except movies, which i get free anyway
