Whoever we get they need to get back to basics.
1) Stick Grand Old Team tune on in the dressing room before games and teach them the lyrics. It's almost as if these players don't know that we are a grand old team to play for. And they certainly don't know their history. They need to know that they need to put on a show as that's what the fans are expecting.
2) Basics work well, get it out wide quickly, get to the byline, put crosses into the box and Calvert-Lewis will stick them away
3) History. Let these boys know that we invented dugouts. I guarantee most of them don't even know it. Once they know the size of the club will they really put in these performances?
4) People say stop mentioning Poch, but why? He isn't going to a top 4 club, we are the next best thing. He can be a hero here. Passionate fan base, new stadium, some quality players in Onana, Calvert-Lewis, Pickford to build a team around.
