Dyche has 1.1 points per match in his career. That gets us to 35 points if he takes over before the next game. It won't be good enough.

And most of his seasons are worse than that rate. A couple better ones push it up.

Nuno would be the last person I want in charge. Bielsa would be near the bottom of the list too. I know Brighton are an actual football club, but they found De Zerbi no bother and I’m sure there are other European managers we’re not too clued up on who we could go for.

If Thelwell is picking the manager and he likes 3-5-2, you surely scour Europe to see who is playing that system, look at their records and go from there. This next appointment will say a huge amount about his competence, if indeed he's allowed to do his job. It could also seal our fate so it's the biggest appointment in our history, arguably.
