Who should replace Frank Lampard?

And to top it all he's a kopite. From the first game we'd lose with him the knives would be out. He's got no chance.

Nuno though? Advantage for Thelwell is he'd suddenly have a lot more players to choose from cos of Mendes, as long as Nuno remains manager. Of course, paying for any of these players becomes all the more difficult with all the hangers on Lampard brought with him having to be paid off. Hmmm
Seems to be Kenwright and Moshiris main criteria for positions these days.

Dyche has 1.1 points per match in his career. That gets us to 35 points if he takes over before the next game. It won't be good enough.

And most of his seasons are worse than that rate. A couple better ones push it up.
In fairness he was working wonders at Burnley. Unless you want to say that Burnley and Everton are comparable clubs

Nuno would be the last person I want in charge. Bielsa would be near the bottom of the list too. I know Brighton are an actual football club, but they found De Zerbi no bother and I’m sure there are other European managers we’re not too clued up on who we could go for.

If Thelwell is picking the manager and he likes 3-5-2, you surely scour Europe to see who is playing that system, look at their records and go from there. This next appointment will say a huge amount about his competence, if indeed he's allowed to do his job. It could also seal our fate so it's the biggest appointment in our history, arguably.

Such a weird shout this. Liverpool are the most supported club in the country. The odds are you’re going to employ people who support them, at some stage.

It’s not exactly Benitez, who’s got form with the supporters. That was never ending well.

The knives wouldn’t be out for him at all.
