Who should replace Frank Lampard?

I actually think the Aussie managing Celtic would be a good option but I can't see him bailing on them mid-season

He's found some absolute gems from the Japanese league so he thinks outside the box with his signings and likely wouldn't just sign Premier League cast offs and journeymen

He'd also kick the players into shape if they weren't behaving

Not sure what sort of style we'd have, but he'd instil some fight in us if nothing else
Id take punt on him

Him to Everton and Dyche to Celtic (chance to prove he can set up an attacking side) would be interesting. Can we make Dyche go to Celtic?

Nuno:
  1. Has worked with Thelwell before;
  2. Has excellent connections with 'super agent' Jorge Mendes, who has a track record for bringing above-average players to below-average clubs on extremely iffy deals (which we need, because we've got no cash and the clubs on fire);
  3. Has coached 5 at the back for near his entire career to decent success with clubs of our level (which I add is probably the best formation for our team);
  4. Had a great record with Wolves coaching counter attack football against the big teams, several of whom we still have to play to stay up (seriously, check the fixture list March onwards);
  5. Would jump at the chance to leave the Middle East to come to a Premier League club.
  6. Has brought a team up from the Championship before
I don't like it personally and I can think of at least 3 or 4 options I think I'd rather us go for - but if you think the squad is actually that bad (which I dont), Nuno ticks a lot of boxes.

Good succinct assessment that pal ?

I think Ange could cut it in the prem, myself. Just not sure he could come into this mess right now though.

Might as well keep Lampard then.

Well I think he knows his race is run mate, he's looked unable to tactically alter things so that isn't going to happen. He looked ill even before we played West Ham.

If there were enough signs that he was building something I'd be more than happy to stick with him. Bit I think even he knows he can't get a tune out of what's available and would only be going through the motions until the inevitable sacking.
