Who should replace Frank Lampard?

Bielsa seems an utterly insane appointment to make in the middle of the season. Maybe in November but I can't see it working now. The one positive would be if we go down under him he likely gets us back up should he decide to stay.

I remember saying after Bournemouth if you're going to change the manager do it now and get someone like Bielsa in to give him time on the training pitch.

We haven't got the luxury of Bielsa now. It needs to be someone who can just come in and grind it out. Allardyce/Pulis/Dyche/Moyes. The squad isn't capable of anything else and why Lampard ditched his preferred way of playing.

If you get Allardyce/Pulis (dear god)/ Dyche or Moyes, you're stuck with him next season and when it falls apart (which it would with anyone but Moyes imo), you're back where you started in Jan next year.

Doucoure knew, it’s written in the stars.

I'm not a fan of Dyche but given the squad and the circumstances its the logical choice. 4-4-2 Bin off Gordon and get Chris Wood in. Doucs and Onana in the middle, Townsend back to cross it in . We'd stay up and thats what we all want. Can't be gambling on a manager with no prem experience or a manager who doesn't suit the squad. Depressing as it is it has to be him. Dunc as assistant to attempt to appease the fans. You all know its happening.

Plus he
I'm sort of coming round to this way of thinking. It's been so unrelentingly grim to watch the last couple of years. Leeds fans loved every minute of their adventure with him
Don't get me wrong the last few games under him were painful, but from the very first league game with him as manager it was different, I had never seen Leeds play that way before, if and it's a huge if he comes to Everton then strap in because it will be so much fun for you, but i can't see it happening.

If this had been at the end of the season maybe, but you will appoint someone who is tried and tested. Dyche he is probably your best chance of staying up, and that is all you want.

Just get rid in the summer like we did with Allardyce. Base the contract around a hefty staying up bonus.

It seemed inevitable that the loser at the London Stadium over the weekend would face the axe, and after Frank Lampard's Everton put in another lacklustre show in their 2-0 loss the club have confirmed the former Chelsea great has been relieved of his duties as manager at Goodison Park.
Lampard had been in the role just over a year, with the former Derby and Chelsea boss galvanising the fanbase after the removal of the deeply unpopular Rafael Benitez in winter of 2021/22. Lampard did not oversee an immediate change in fortune but toward the end of last season managed to secure enough points to keep the Toffees up and earn another season in charge.
Starting the season looking as poor as they have, however, Lampard's lack of a plan to turn things around seems to have been his undoing on Merseyside. After yet another managerial change in the chaotic Moshiri era, Everton are once more on the lookout for a head coach to come in and stave off relegation.
Facing up to an uninspiring playing squad, mutinous fanbase and perilous league position, we’ve looked at five potential candidates for one of the toughest jobs in world football…

I'm not sure what people think would be fun about having Bielsa in charge. As we saw under Martinez, it isn't actually fun at all to have a manager with a kamikaze approach because you tend to get absolutely thrashed quite regularly. Leeds conceded 3 or more goals in a third of the top flight games he managed, that's not my idea of fun.
