Who should replace Frank Lampard?

Just give Mourinho whatever he wants. Please.
I expect he would of taken it if we had approached him instead of Benitez, just to stay the premier league.
But with his 'Special One' Mindset. One thing he would never accept is a possible Relegation on his CV.

Could offer him a Sneaky 'pre-Contract' for next season if we somehow stay up, and come back with 'Abraham' in good faith.

He failed in his last job though, his style of play just doesn't equate to modern day football. The amount of folk saying if appointed then enough is enough, it would be suicidal from the club to bring Fat Sam in. Not just that he will happily rob the club blind of a lot of money.

Some clubs are un-saveable (like when he took on West Brom) and that's how we look right now tbh. I don't think it will happen because of our fan base, but I do think he is one of the few that could possibly save us. I don't think he'd be 'robbing us' in any way, especially if he kept us up. If he kept us up it would be the best money we ever spent, an absolute bargain!

Going to be yet another dodgy appointment from the same old sorry shortlist of obvious candidates. Why can’t they open their minds and find a De Zerbi type for example ?‍♂️
Knutsen and Gallardo are thevtyoevof mansgers that fit a De Zerbi type. Both were on the shortlist st Brighton before De Zerbi got the job.

I hope whoever we appoint, we need to back him in the transfer market. However, the sacking of Lampard is inconvenient because it would be difficult to convince players to sign for us when we don’t have a manager.

In an ideal world, we would have a replacement lined up NOW. Announce a few players for this break (Danjuma) and sell Holgate + Keane before the window ends. Yet Everton likes to make it difficult…

….but they can’t back the new manager in the transfer market as it closes in a matter of days. Whoever comes in has to go with what we have.

Lampard should have been gone , after those two hapless defeats to Bournemouth. It was clear then , that the Lampard experiment wasn’t working. And under a new manager we just might not have wasted all those matches since. We might have managed to have held on , and won a few matches. But no , we are now were we are. But a few wins would help the cause. Wouldn’t it just be like this bunch of players to get a result against Arsenal.
Anyhow , I don’t know who our next manager will be. Who does. I favoured Dyche. Just to steady us up. Hopefully be hard to beat. Nick a few matches. Get out of the bottom 3. But who really knows?
Just now on the short term thinking , how about that new manager bounce thing. Bounce bounce bounce. That will do me for now. For now. One step at a time.
And of course I want to see a plan. A style of play. Hopefully an attacking style. Hopefully a plan to bring in young players. Hopefully drop that 5 at the back nonsense. Get this club back winning a few matches. Anything.
Dyche might just be the man. But I believe that he is not being considered. So once again…….who knows.

I’m stealing this saying from a film , but if asked what Everton means to me , I say , nothing……….everything.

Just pray that we get things right this time. Up the Toffees.
