I've suffered enough watching abysmal football don't pine for gravysorus rex to return. I think people forget how truly dull his football was , yes it got results but I seriously nodded off numerous times of watching and we already are accomplishing two shots on target all game don't need a continuation. Also his signings were a burden on the club. Cenk cost us millions for years when he was relevant for that half of the season. Also sam hasn't been coaching recently so even though hes an experienced fire fighter he would be a little rusty

Persobally i Would prefer to nod off than lose a 70+ year record of consecutive top flight football

Notice that punters on this site , don’t want Sam Allardyce back. That’s ok. I can live with that . He wouldn’t be my first choice either. But with an Allardyce type approach , our recent scores might have read , Everton 1 Wolves 0. Everton 1 Southampton 0. And West Ham 0 Everton 0. All conjecture, I know. But who knows ?
