Who should replace Frank Lampard?

I just won't ever understand how desperate times require bringing in someone so bad no one in the championship wanted him
Like I said mate, not my choice but respectively I don’t think he’d accept a championship job. He’s a premier league manager ok, one that specialises in staying up when he’s club probably shouldn’t. Square peg, square hole to me ATM ? .. guess we will see soon enough!

People are being unbelievable harsh. Let’s have it right, Dyche had absolutely no right to keep them in the top division as long as he did let alone in to Europe with the joke of a “budget” he was given. No club spent less than Burnley in his time there. What were people expecting? Top half finishes and Europe every year? With the lack of investment it was always going to catch up with them in the end. Nigh on impossible to keep that up year in year out. Similar happened to Howe. Done a great job at Bournemouth but eventually they dropped under him. Just look how quickly we’ve fallen the last two years since Ancelotti left..

this is typical of Everton. If Bielsa is a no, then the nearest replacement would be Corberan. Not Everton- from a high press, intensity and attacking manager to a direct, defensively minded manager in a day. No wonder recruitment is a mess, how can Thelwell sign anyone with such a scattergun approach.

It’s beyond parody. If someone made a sitcom based on Everton since Moshiri came people wouldn’t watch it because they’d say it was too unbelievable.
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Thelwell just chucked it. An opportunity to finally have some joined up thinking and let the DoF pick a manager and then implement and recruit for a coherent style, and instead the shortlist is yet again just Moshiri and Kenwright chucking names they've heard of against the wall.

He specializes in staying up only if you ignore the relegations

Remember when we took Wigan’s manager, their coaching team, their goalkeeper, their central defender, their central midfielder and their striker? Amazingly, we slowly turned into Wigan.

Dyche, his staff, Keane, Tarkowski, McNeil.. plus whatever crap ex player he dredges up on Tuesday. I wonder what will happen.

Dyche isn't my first choice , but he is much better than many on here would have you believe.
Whoever gets the job , we all need to get right behind them , for us to have any chance.
Interestingly , Carlos Corberan has shortened in the betting with 9 bookies today , and is actually favourite on Betfair.

As it looks Burnley will be in the Prem next season and we won't.

We are hardly better
