Who should replace Frank Lampard?

If I'm totally honest I dont think either of these keep us up. We'll concede too many with one and wont score enough with the other.

EDIT: why the panic to get a manager in for the weekend? We've no game. Get a striker in and then focus on the manager.

Neither keep us up mate. There’s an unhealthy obsession by the board with “PL Experience.”

Looks like Dyche to me - and I'm happy enough with that given the reality of our situation. He's a very competent manager - and we haven't always had that in a manager under Farhad.

Bielsa looks like hard work. We have enough high maintenance types around the club. I would welcome Bielsa in much the same was a constipated man would an enema, but, similarly, it might get very messy...

Dyche looks like he would be much easier to get in the door. That might swing it for him. That said, Moshiri loves a superstar, and he tends to get what he wants, so who knows? We should have some white smoke in the next 36 hours. Anything later than that is another dereliction of duty on top of all the other ones...
We are still going to need a few players to make the Dyche system actually work though. The thought of Mykolenko and McNeil being our left hand side is terrifying tbh, for me one or both would need to go, we still need a striker, and Id like to see a CB with some pace so we can push up the pitch a bit. I don't trust this club though.

Pass the Dyche on the left hand side has gone odds on across the board. Bielsa despite still said to be in the running, continuing to drift in the opposite direction.

Get them both in then. Boom. Dyche can do the translation in interviews

Yes, indeed we are. Without significant support in the market, this cannot work.

I’m leaning more towards Bielsa than Dyche. I just don’t think our fanbase will have Dyche, same way it didn’t have Allardyce, same way it got bored with Moyes in the end, far too much of a football hipster element in it. Unless he hit the ground running we’d be on his back and the players would know they could down tools immediately. Even if he did keep us up, too much of the fanbase wouldn’t have any enthusiasm for him taking us forward in the next season.

At least with Bielsa we would hopefully get an immediate reaction from the players due to the change in style and the fans might at least stick with him a bit longer. If he kept us up as well there’d probably be a bit of optimism going into next season.
