Think it's worth giving Joel a chance personally. Still young and has improved in his rather unfairly scattered and scarce appearances. Also got the assets to be a more modern keeper than Howard, I.e.good distribution.

A mate of mine who is vaguely ITK reckons that we're signing Heaton from Burnley. He's been right about a few things like this before, but I sincerely hope he's wrong in this case.

I'm sure there'll be some excellent logic defying excuse as to why we will carry on with horrific Howard next season. 'No other keeper has 7 years Everton experience so even though he's the worst in the league really Martinez had no choice but to carry on with him'

i dont know why people keep mentioning butland. unless hes in the last year of his contract or something stoke will be looking about £20m for him id say

THIS 100%
Can we put a block on the word Butland in here please mods!
He isnt going knowere after just establishing himself in the Stoke team and even if he was the RS would step in with there transfer comitee and go get him

Marshall? Gone abit quiet on him recently
Heaton? Is he a step up from Joel
Young keeper from abroad? Is it a risk to throw a GK straight into another league and expect him to be top quality from the off, or would we be patiant enough to let him find his feet in the league
Joel? I dont know if he is the answer nut i think he has earned a shot at the no1 position, even though i think he has a glaring mistake in him too
