I expect England to see off the hipster's choice, Switzerland. England are deeply over-rated and deeply uninspiring, but they do have huge resources (financial and demographic) and have two world-class players who, despite everything, still make a difference in the big moments. England might be tedious - and a bit of a psychodrama - but they are still very hard to beat. And this strikes me as the kind of game where the Swiss - who have never been in a semi-final - start to look down and somebody like Yann Sommer has a stinker.
I expect to see England in Berlin. Ronald Koeman doesn't have it in him to get the Dutch to a final - I'm fairly sure the Romanians or Turks would see him off before even England - and if Austria are the last bastion of the hipster ABEs, well, we've been left down badly this time around.
It'll take an über stodgy France (playing well), a Spanish side that has a cutting edge, or an inspired host nation to stop them. I reckon the odds of stopping them fall the further along that last sentence you travel.
