That first half was as bad as anything I've seen this season. A lot of huff and puff in the second half and it was better.

But I am really disappointed in Ferguson to be honest. Dropping Gordon for Townsend and insisting on 442...its clear as day that there's barely anything in his locker tactically.

His pre-match interviews gave the game away: it wasn't the system that was spluttering, it was the passion to make it work...and that's where he came in: "Mr Passion", to inject the required level of commitment.

The way I see it is are Rooney or Lampard going to be any different to Ferguson being in charge?

Both have managed so quite possibly. And both were elite players who won the lot.

We will only know if one of them gets the job, but I reckon both would be good options for me
