At this point I'm not looking for a manager who buys into "The Project and "The Vision" to turn this club around over the next 5 years to take it back to a team competing for Europe. I'm looking for a manager who has the ability to get enough points this season and get us to safety. The former is an afterthought.
There is no ambition to get into Europe. The goal from day one is to try get the stadium done. When the stadium and championship is threatened big sam comes in. . Perera coming in pretty much is Moshiri making peace with the championship and wanting to bank parachute payments, sales of top players and sales of the club in order to sellup imo.

I used the words Project and Vision lightly as I don't believer there is a clear Project. The manager who comes in taking this job needs to know their remit is to secure safety.

What decent manager has been hounded out?

Silva, Allardyce, even Ancelotti was rapidly losing popularity by the end with people calling him a dinosaur who couldn’t coach.

No one can say we haven’t had decent managers with pedigree at the club. The players have let down manager after manager, the majority of people know this but rather than supporting the manager over the players we just look to a managerial change every time we get in trouble.

I didn’t even mention Benitez you weird obsessive

You didn't? Feed me your tears you pathetic little sycophant.

I thought this was what people wanted? Young foreign progressive, not the obvious choice, clearly not a Kenwright pick, not a kopite, hasn’t managed the club before, not a dinosaur from the early 2000s. Isn’t this what you wanted?

You I presume is everyone here that didn't want the waiter to stick around.

It's correct but no manager is getting the time to do that either are they? So we want a good manager in the short term

Chances of attracting one in January with a squad that has seen the last five managers fired? Very low.

We simply have to back the next manager over these players. The players have to leave the club, simple as that.
