He was talking on one of the spaces last night.
It’s just a normal scouse lad having a laugh mate.

And let’s face it, laughing at ourselves right now is pretty easy !

That's all we've got at the min, if you didn't laugh, you'd cry.

You could believe those tweets as genuine that he's put up as well, that's how fubar things are with us at the minute.

Grant McCann just got the can from Hull - seemed like he knew what he was doing when we played them. New owners wanted some Turkish guy apparently. Not suggesting him for a permanent manager role but maybe assistant. Seems more like the Moyes appointment of yesteryear.
Think he needs a little more seasoning personally. Pretty sure he took hull down before bringing them up.

This will sound bizarre, but what is in Lampards favour is that he struggled when having 200m worth of player to get them right, but his best work came before that.

What it shows to me, is that at that elite level, hes a fair bit off that currently. The level where you are given big players with huge egos and fees and you need to organise them.

However, we are a long way from that, and when working with younger players, with less/no money he worked much better.

Theres lots of concerns I have, but in terms of what's needed if/when we get to the summer he would tick some boxes.

I think we would stop the leak of younger players, and we may even keep lads like Dobbin.
He had huge issues trying to manage a bloated squad full of big names and keeping everyone happy. He isolated Kepa, Rudiger and Jorginho.

Thankfully that won't be an issue at Goodison.; and the one encouraging sign was his willingness to take a chance on the youth, something we just haven't seen at Everton in years.

In lieu of any other seemingly viable options, I think this is it for us for the next 18 months. Whatever happens we need to get behind whoever is appointed.

I`ve changed my mind on who I`d favour to take the job now... my preference is Frank Lampard, hear me out whilst I tell you why.

Young upcoming and modern manager
Fresh out of the changing room himself
Would command respect from players and gives us a chnace of keeping our best players
He could attract better players than we could with Kovac or Pereira or whoever, similar to Gerrard at Aston Vanilla
Premier League experience, finished 4th with Chelsea whilst under a transfer embargo
Talks well and conducts himself well away from the pitch
Gives youth a chance
Wouldnt accept where we are now and ambitious
IMO wouldnt be hankering for another job i.e. Chelsea unlike what Villa have with Slippy
Emotionally detached from the club so emotions don`t cloud his professional judgment as with Rooney or Ferguson

All this makes sense to me, give him the job, even if he wanted 18 months then add an option to a further 12.

Then we can add a DoF and build towards the future, Lampard seems a lot like the Moyes appointment and has a lot of the same attributes.

Brighton Press Conference (two days before they play Chelsea)

"Graham do you want the Everton job?"
"Yes, that would be incredible."

Come on Zat, that's not's happening is it? He's not ruled himself out, he's been thoroughly professional when faced with a line of questioning in his current job

he’s literally a kid thinking he’s some manager zzzzzz

i like this post ish lol

Getting fed up with this waiting. I've gone for any of these three. ( Ferguson to the end of the season. See how he does. I think that when he twigs on who his first 11 are. Then gets them playing . That we will be ok). No guarantees about anything. And i'd like to see the team that finished the villa game , start against Brentford and Newcastle. But as this is Everton, there is no real guarantee that even that team will turn up. A.Gordon must now start those matches. But when I think that a player has stepped up......they soon step down again.
When we have say 5 players playing well. We usually have about 6 not playing well. We are dragged down by mistakes. All over the pitch.

Then we come to Rooney and Lampard. Either one will do. It's a punt anyhow. Rooney might gel with Ferguson. Lampard might raid Chelsea for a few loanees. Who knows.
Just hope that we can get a few more bodies on board though. Who s doing that business now. If any business at all. Ferguson.......Kenwright and Sharpe.
What a club.

I agree with this, also he has been out the game long enough to come back refreshed and had time to look at where things went wrong at Chelsea.

these two gimps on SSN are doing my head in again

apparently what we can all see and learn from his (Vitor's) record is wrong, but his sources who say he's won loads are right
