We're in quite the pickle as we know. But we need to act fast, were running out of time.

Moshiri needs to ask himself

Who will give the players a real lift?
Who can attract some solid loans in a VERY short space of time?
Who is really gonna get into the spirit of what's happening with passion and fight?

Only one answer for me and it rhymes with something I do in the shower.
Tom Hanks?

Christ, don't tell me Joe Swash has thrown his hat in the ring?

I don't think Moshiri asks himself these type of questions.

I’ve said it before but Hodgson on a short term contract until May would have been the one for me. Safe pair of hands to get us the points we desperately need, buy time, take stock & implement a proper long term plan.
Townsend has been disappointing enough lately don't need watch him being apprehensive to go over the half way line under Roy

* Sharp

As in, Everton legend
Thorn in Liverpoo's side
I'm talking about his place on the board. No need to point out what he did at Everton. I saw him play. Supporters my age would have needed to have been a coma to not have noticed Sharps playing career....
And sorry for putting an e on the end of his name. My mistake.

Tony Pull is?

I agree mate. I'd rather Lampard than Pereira, mind.

My realistic pick would be Favre on an 18-month contract with an option for a further year, but doesn't look like they're even considering it.

I'm unsure on Kovac. Garcia has managed big clubs but has a tendency for it to go wrong pretty quickly.

I want Galtier but that ship has sailed. If it is to be Rooney or Lampard, I do think our younger, attacking players would get a boost and that might give us the goals to get out of this but I'm very worried. They delayed sacking Benitez at least a month too late and it did even more damage than hiring him in the first place.
You think galtier will ever leave France? Seems quite comfortable there

I think the questions are slightly different:
- Who can instil in this squad a will to win?
- Who can coach them to play with increased skill, and some tactical nous and flexibility?
- Who has experience of taking a team in the lower half of a top league and leading them into the European places?
- Who is experienced enough to know which youngsters are ready to step up and can blend them properly with established players?

Favre

Lampard? He’s done nothing of note. Nothing.
he’d be nowhere near this job if he hadn’t been a top payer. He took over at derby and did no better than their previous manger. He bizarrely went to Chelsea and performed poorly. Someone mentioned the players he signed…. Managers have nothing to do with signing payers at a big club like Chelsea.

and what’s worse. He’s no experience at all of dogging it out at the bottom of the taboe for points.
He does have a football philosophy, but he struggles to put this across to players as he’s thin skinned with a big ego. He calls out players in a way that undermines them and isolates them. He lost the dressing room at Chelsea, imagine being in a relegation battle?

oh, and he’s a massive Tory.

the perfect candidate. Lol.
