Sorry....not meaning to drag this on. But I don't know what Sharpe brings to the party. So won't judge him just yet. Don't think that anyone knows what his appointment on the board means. Just wish Moshiri would have his own people onboard. Proper football people. Get this club run on a proper footing. We can only hope .

Lampard makes sense for situation Everton are in.

They're meant to have no money apparently because of FFP. So appointing a manager who managed to work under similar situation at Chelsea with their transfer ban would be good.
Lampard fell apart when the window opened and big expensive players came in and the pressure and dynamic changed.

He took the fall for crap like Werner or Havertz who would never workout .

Consideration should be given to who a manager can attract. Playing under Lampard for six months could appeal to some players looking for a loan move, but I don't think playing for Pereira in a relegation dogfight has the same appeal. I think some players would rather avoid that headache.
