Remember hearing interviews and profiles when he was linked to the Celtic job , if nothing else he’s a fascinating listen . Career wise he was certainly on an upward curve and was highly rated until his recent failure .
Thats what Im thinking as well. He's also experienced, has been in the RB machinery for years and theoretical knowledge should be solid.

He'd be something different, not bland at all and a man that has a clear and dynamic image on how the beautiful game should be played.

Regarding paying contracts up when the managers are sacked? this doesn't happen we just continue to pay them monthly as per their contract, the only manager who was different to this was Gravy Train, as it was a part of his contract as per an interview

I don't want an ex blue and definitely not a red...

Tony Pulis for me

Give it Dunc - as the wools say.

That's what this agitation has all been for.

The abysmal lack of vision and grasping for medicority that represents. An outcome that the failed squad and the galloott's coaching cronies would love, but would bury Everton in a mausoleum for years to come.
Dave, mediocrity would be a huge improvement from what we are currently seeing and before you try to deflect by saying I want the ‘Galloot’ as you call him, I don’t, but, if needs be I would accept him as a short term caretaker whilst we get a long term man in. Once we have a new man I think it would be better for both Duncan and the club if we part company.

Think we can actually go for a manager who is currently employed.

Frank Lampard, really?
He ruined Derby & couldn't get a higher place than 9th after a good old 200m spending spree at Chelsea.

I fear the worst

How did he ruin Derby. He left after narrowly losing a play off final.

Please define "ruin".

People need to get over this obsession with experience and proven PL managers. Appointing these types of boss have got us nowhere. Give someone young and hungry the job and let them prove themselves. Lampard would be an excellent manager for us because his strengths are using and improving young players and that is our only long term chance here.

People need to have a little bit of ambition and be willing to try something and get behind something longer term. Older players and older managers have left us in a mess. Why would we go down that route again.

The stuff about Lampard is all simply because he's not as good as Tuchel. It's an irrational argument because no one close to the calibre of Tuchel is coming here.

Judge him in his own right and on his achievement during the season of actual real football and not the season of fake behind doors football where his new signings took 6 months to find their feet. The centre forward he was given was immediately replaced by Tuchel with a 90m pound forward as well.

He got top 4 in a normal season with a young team, during a transfer ban, after Hazard was sold. That was an excellent achievement, and the fact that he couldn't get Werner, Havertz, Ziyech etc to perform immediately doesn't concern me at all, because Tuchel finds it hard to get consistency from them too.
