regardless of the Chelsea embargo, he had a great team with quality throughout. Not o mention teams around him had a shocker of a season.

Lampards signings utterly failed Under him after the transfer embargo ended. So his record in the transfer market, and getting players to adapt to his football is pretty piss poor.

Derby reached the play offs the year before he took over as well. they also finished 6th under lampard, the same position as the year before. He had zero Improvement as derby manager, other than media hype because of who he is.

He lost vydra and weimann at Derby. Oldest squad in league. Added loans and promoted kids.

Beat Leeds in play offs but lost to Villa in final.

Chelsea he lost Hazard
Kepa thrust on him.
Tuchel is 3rd now

were they playing last night?
Playing now. I am watching the Colombia match and they mentioned it on commentary. Colombia playing really but just can't score. 0-0 after 80 minutes. Great to see James spraying passes around. Mina booked but not injured yet.

Got to the stage now there is zero excitement about a new Everton manager. Just blind hope.
As of right now the only thing i would like to see from lampard is he'll straight away not tolerate frauds like iwobi.
He was a winner on the pitch. He'll sniff out those who are taking the piss.
Not hard….there is a proper stench emanating from this squad

Mad that you think any signings made at Chelsea are ‘the managers’

That's the spirit chap.

My god, give me your shoelaces, quick.

Not when Lampard has a pretty horrendous record as a coach. In 19/20 Chelsea conceded 54 goals in 38 games under Lampard. This season under Tuchel they have conceded 18 in 24 games.

So Chelsea are now conceding almost half as many goals under Tuchel as they did under Lampard.

Lampard's Chelsea conceded almost 1.5 goals per game, imagine what he is going to be like with our defenders. This appointment could be an absolute car crash.
Ok to have that view wont argue, i have to have hope this will work. Think what we all need to do i have been so down with the team i need something to get my hopes up.

Even if he didn’t sign them himself, the fact he failed to integrate pretty much any of them was shocking. It’s shows a piss poor ability to coach players.

You only have to look at the Chelsea defence under him to realise he is a terrible coach. Chelsea under tuchel instantly turned around the defence.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but if Lampard was to do a bloody good job at Everton over the next 2 or 3 seasons and get us back in the top 6 in the league and having a cup run who would potentially come in for Lampard to try and steal him off us?
He's already been at Chelsea so there's a risk they'd give him another shot but maybe not.
As he's a Chelsea legend he'd probably be unpopular at Arsenal or Tottenham.
He played for West Ham so that could be an option but if Everton are top 6 then it wouldn't be a step up.
I can't see Liverpool, Man Utd or Man City touching him.

So if Lampard does the unthinkable and actually makes a success of being at Everton I can actually see him sticking around for 5 years or so. Obviously if the more likely occurs and we continue to be utter dogship then he'll be sacked and end up at Derby again.
