They all are in fairness mate. Nobody is immune from screwing up (this may well be the season Dyche’s luck runs out and he goes down) so I have no issue with Lampard personally. Yes he is inexperienced, but Koeman, Ancelotti and Benitez between them have about a billion years experience and they didn't exactly light up our workd did they? The last managers who genuinely entertained me was Martinez in his first season, and he was a massive punt. Gerrard was a punt for Rangers and Villa, Arteta was a massive gamble at Arsenal. Zidane, and Guardiola were punts at Real & Barca as is Iniesta at the moment. it may well crash and burn, but I think it has as much chance or working as failing provided the board back him and the fans wind their necks in and be patient with him.It might if you have the brain of a goldfish. Keeping Burnley in the league for years and balancing the books
are achievements that 2 minute johnnies like Lampard could only dream about.
You want someone to identify players in the transfer market, bring on youngsters and flog non-essential players like Keane for lots then that fella would have my vote. I prefer a mature operator, a real manager of resources not an apprentice who fell out with some of his top stars at CFC. Frank is probably a better bet than the latest foreign superstar to have caught Moshiri's eye but make no mistake about it he's all spin and hope-for-the -best, no record- a punt.
Just for a laugh who? Who do you think we could get? You do realize Frank played a lot Chelsea youngsters? That was his legacy, Reece James, Mason Mount, plenty more, we need a manager who will work with our youth, and he is perfectIt might if you have the brain of a goldfish. It’s not even half twelveAt this rate Dunc will be doing the Brentford game !!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh boy.
When do we announce Frankie?
Do you realize EFC pays 4- 6 million a year? Yes, Frank played a few youngsters but that is hardly enough to bag the EFC job. What else has Frank done to warrant this chance? He fell out big time at CFC with a number of top players who forced management to make a decision. I learnt about that from Tony Cascarino- Talk Sport.Just for a laugh who? Take a look at the op mate, its roy Vernon 39, a completely different posterArguing with yourself isn't a good sign mate.
But this 4-6 million a year isn't attracting anyone, so you have to wonder why. Besides when did we last get a bloke with a CV? Carlo, Rafael? Neither did any good, its about being the right fit for who Everton are right now, our squad, status in the modern game and budget rules a lot of managers out, even Potter is beyond us.Do you realize EFC pays 4- 6 million a year? I hope Frank does a great job but there is no way that Frank is the best available manager. He is a name. An image. Just like the 1966 England team players who bar Jack Charlton all turned out to be poor managers.
We should have got a bloke with a CV.
I reckon its all done and they are all working behind the scenes, just waiting until Monday, why though i don't knowWould've thought they'd announce him today so as to allow the new signings their time in the limelight too. Guess we'll just have a bumper day of Everton news tomorrow
I know mate,Take a look at the op mate, its roy Vernon 39, a completely different poster
He is clearly good at PowerPoint so let’s hope he can manage a dysfunctional football team
