Update:

Nothing has been agreed between The Friedkin Group and Farhad Moshiri. The Friedkin Group have analysed the situation at Everton very closely and are very likely to walk away.

Moshiri is pushing the deal towards The Friedkin Group but they aren’t having any of it.

Moshiris 2nd option (very worryingly) is A-Cap if The Friedkin Group officially walk away from the deal A-Cap are likely to step in and takeover the club.

you say nothing has been agreed but Friedkin has had his bid accepted exclusively will be signed

It’s ironic that on Father’s Day son of Esk starts posting on here

From the beginning of this process and the names leaked, Friedkin was may favorite (said so on this thread). I just think there's the most assurance and competency from him comparatively. He is a sole owner, no consortium hedge fund eyeing the flip or 2nd partner with more resources dictating terms. His wealth is more than legitimate, would be on the cusp of the top 10 in the division and comes from a diverse portfolio which lends likely to marketing potential. But most of all he's made very few missteps with Roma considering his lack of football experience.

There's a lot akin between the two clubs in stature, history/romance, fanbases and yet mixed success. He has 1 trophy, two finals and has moved with nuance and awareness in regards to the fans. Of course Im not a supporter but from afar the Mourinho bet was a good one in the Serie A, I equally think De Rossi and the more youth led plan was likely logical too. Having a highly resourced owner who won't be going through new owner syndrome who has demonstrated being involved but not overbearing is frankly the ideal counter to the Moshiri era.

I really don't see a downside besides the cup conflicts in europe possibly. Lets be fair we are a lonnnnggg way from that concern. I would welcome such a problem. And considering Girona's success and more multi club models I would not be shocked if those rules get ratified in some way to appease the big fish before we are even possibly affected by that.

All to say I hope this gets completed and he is the last considered party.

The Reed College students said official Guinness surveyors measured the giant piece of chalk at just over 6 feet tall and 24 inches wide, and they are waiting to hear whether it officially defeated the previous record holder, a piece of chalk made by Pittsburgh high schoolers in 2010 at 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 23 ..

Sounds like that's the Branthwaite replacement sorted then.

What is utterly bizarre about what he claims is the fact the levels of debt have been in the public domain... we have 2 points deductions with it all out in the open. Prerty sure a group like this wouldnt walk in blind and suddenly go... hang on a minute we didn't know about all this debt.

It's just not believable.

We can't be spending £60 million a year on interest?

Which of the loans are we paying interest on at the moment?
  • £450 million - Moshiri.
  • £225 million - Rights And Media Funding
  • £200 million - 777.
  • £159 million - MSP.
  • £5 million - Metro Bank.

Word round the kitbag (social media) is were paying 10% pa in intrest to rights and media.

Its essentially a payday loan on a larger scale.

A kenwright special unfortunately.
