Why do we bother?(never give up)

I am slightly disappointed you think there is a choice in this. You generally support Everton because your father figure did. This is how it should be. My son loves Everton regardless of how good we are and luckily all the kids at school who are also good at footy are Blues. We will be fine this season and will rise again.
Don’t let your offspring be Reds. They know nothing about footy and are generally less handsome.

I'm blue through and through, always have been, but I've been getting right into the non-league set up. I'm not sure if enjoying yourself at a match is classed as being a glory fan, but I've fallen in love with it.

The idea that you genuinely make a difference going to the games in financial contributions and actual support. Learning who the players are, week by week, and actually seeing that their playing level is pretty decent.

It's definitely helped my mental health, after obsessing over Everton during the last 4 relegation campaigns.

He was at my wedding mate....known him since I was 4 years old....Everton were league champions then.....he still says I gave him grief then and in 1987 haha....
My sister is also a red gobshhhhhh.....
Still love her though lol.
Cut all ties with every single kopite you know.
As the song says you know what they are, “every single one of them”.

Of all the managers we had after Moyes the one who sticks out to me that we maybe should have persisted with was Marco Silva. Of course it's easy to say that in hindsight with how well he has done at Fulham.

But why did we sack him? He wasn't doing that bad and didn't really put us in relegation danger. I remember we were very soft at set pieces with him but other than that was he really doing that badly?

Same. Non-league is so much better (not the quality of the footy, obvs). No VAR, no obsessing over finances and league rules, ale in the stands, cheap tickets. Long live the Northern Premier League!

Sure the team was on a bad run then we had the cup game vs liverpool think they played alot of the kids aswel and we got battered. Also think prob helps less pressure at fulham is the difference any manager coming here whatever state the club is now us fans will give managers a chance but we do want see progression

There is certainly a tolerance for it.

I've reached my limit, though. People are fighting over the manager, but why bother? If he stays we might stay up or go down. Likewise, if he goes. The board had all year to do a deal - still waiting for new owners with no end in sight. This situation is unsustainable. We are now a rudderless ship drifting in choppy seas. 50-50 whether we hit the rocks this season. I'm a lot less invested in what's happening because we have no say and no control over things. And if the club was to founder, well, you couldn't say it wasn't deserved given the way things have been mismanaged.

Getting exercised over whether Sean Dyche and his austerity football is a good or bad thing for Everton seems...almost pointless. A bit like Sean.
