Not going to look it up but almost certainly yes. The "war on drugs" inflates the US crime numbers but yeah this would be one for the UK. However it's also a lot easier to "feel safe" in the US than the UK. In the UK, barring living with the sheep, you are always going to be fairly crime adjacent. In the US it's easier to escape to the massive suburbs and things are still fairly segregated (which could be seen as a negative too). Pros and cons.and have less crime in the uk than the us?
