Why is our defence so bad?

He's getting absolutely nothing whatsoever out of that defensive unit and he isn't changing a thing either because the same mistakes are happening, the shape is wring, the formation is wrong, the personel are wrong, the instructions are wrong, the in game management are wrong, the players are confused......I could go on and on and on and on and on and on.

He's so far out of his depth ( and I mean that genuinely ) that its truly frightening. Its clear as day as well and I cant see how anyone can have watched any of our last 10-15 games and not be alarmed by how inept He's been. It's gross mismanagement what we are currently witnessing.

People laughing their heads off as we seen the demise of Mourinho, a manager who looked like he was made of steel, ridiculed in the end because of his outdated tactics. This fella is even worse but the worrying thing is he still believes his way is the the right way.

I don't disagree with your analysis or points. But I also think the players should take responsibility for their decisions and inability to run and more Importantly an inability to read the game

Of course mate, players have to take responsibility but the reason why players need a manager is because they need to be managed. They need to be told to pick up player A on free kicks but player B on corners. They're told to attack front post from player A corners and target oppostions striker from other side. Players take on bitesize pieces of information and it's these tactics they take onto the pitch.

Watching Everton is complete chaos. Their is no cohesion, gaping holes everywhere, no plan, barely any tactics, hardly anything that looks like its been worked on the training ground..

There's nothing. It's alarming.

It's worrying. Very worrying.
 

The coaching is shocking. We had a pretty good defensive set up last season, we now have a terrible defensive set up. Nobody knows what they're supposed to be doing at set pieces. Players are playing out of position because the manager is a baby who cannot accept criticism.

Some of our players also have the mental fragility of a plastic spoon.
 
Shocking is our Spanish managers have been very poor on set pieces Bobby Brown Shoes was dreadful I thought until Mr. Benetiz arrived. Utter chaos is zonal marking. It doesn't compute for us.
 

It's bad from set pieces because the people who are very good at defending set pieces for Everton in the last season or so have been DCL, Richarlison and Mina...and none have been on the pitch at the same time since early in the season.

This is about personnel, not systems and managers.

I'd love some top players instead for sure, but to suggest the ones we have at the moment are not currently underperforming is wrong.

Again, just look at set pieces. Its an absolute mess and organising that does not come from the players - it comes from training.
